On May 12th, 2021, during the military operation "Guardian of the Walls" in Israel, a house suffered a direct missile hit and collapsed.
This house was in my hometown and so I passed by the ruins of this house on my daily drive to work.
With every passing day, the thoughts intensified in me: who was the family that once lived in this house? Where were they when the house was hit? What does it do to a person, to know he was a hairsbreadth away from his death? How does it feel to lose your home, your roots, your safe place?
This is how the photographic project "90 seconds to Impact" came into being.
More on this project can be found here, including the artists' project statement, as well as a complementary text written by Drora Navon, the mother of the family.
