The project "House of Mirrors" seeks to investigate the Israeli human experience. Using the language of street photography, it takes the viewer along Israeli scenes in a different light. The model Ohad Huri is placed as the observer in public places like the beach, folk dancing, the marketplace, and the national park. The mindful observation reflects the Israeli society as it is perceived from external and internal points of view simultaneously. Through a lens of playful self-parody, I intend to show different facets of this society, aiming a spotlight on its charming characteristics – the warmth, openness, eccentricity, and the tribal spirit it encompasses.
